Accordingly benefits are provided to support that goal, and the package is comparable to or better than what most Fortune 500 companies offer in the market today. Mortgage Relief Benefit
This benefit, unique to Schakra, is aimed at encouraging all the employees to enjoy the pride of owning a home. The company pays $200 each month to employees who are home owners, and meet all other eligibility requirements, to pay against their home mortgage principal and become debt free sooner.**
Communication Allowance Benefit
The company will pay $150 each month** to employees to help cover the cost of your own personal choice of internet provider and cell phone connection.
Schakra GET Program
Another unique Schakra benefit, the company will match up to 100% of contributions to Washington state Guaranteed Education Tuition (GET) accounts established for up to two of your children. The maximum monthly value is $202 and requires a commitment to buy a minimum number of units.**

Every employee is provided with a laptop computer. These productivity tools allow employees to balance their work-life demands while staying highly productive and mobile and benefitting from the best technology and connectivity available.
Medical
Cigna is one of the leading providers of medical insurance in Washington and our medical insurance provider. Through Cigna, Schakra offers an extremely benefit rich medical plan with in-network preventive care requiring a minimal co-pay, a reasonable $150 deductible, and then 100% coverage depending on services.
Dental
Cigna is also our dental provider. Through Cigna, Schakra offers a great benefit with waived co-pay’s on preventive care and a low $25 annual deductible. Preventative care is covered at 100%. Most common extra services are covered at 80%, with even complex procedures covered at 50%, and the maximum benefit per calendar year is $2,000.
Vision
Cigna is our vision provider. Cigna offers eye exams every 12 months with no co-pays. Lenses are covered at 100% every 24 months. This plan offers $120 for hardware every 24 months and Video Display Terminal (VDT) exams.
Life Insurance
We offer and pay 100% of the premium for $20,000 of protection with Cigna Life and Health and additional Permanent Life Insurance through Jackson National Life. Those policies are available in 100k, 250k and 500k levels, with 70% of the 100k monthly premium paid by Schakra for enrolled employees.
Short & Long Term Disability Insurance
In the event you could no longer work, Cigna will pay an after tax benefit equal to 60% of your pre- disability wages. The short-term disability starts after the 7th day of an accident or covered illness and continues for 12 weeks. Once the short-term benefits are exhausted the long-term coverage kicks in. Maternity leave is covered similar to any medical condition that would prevent you from working.
401(k) Retirement Savings
Our current 401(k) plan is with Paradigm Financial and allows us to offer multiple families of mutual funds like Oppenheimer, American Funds, Goldman Sachs, etc. We plan on continuing to offer a dollar-for-dollar match on the first 3% of your contributions and fifty cents on the dollar for the next 2%.**
