Amarendra Reddy, founder and President, brought Schakra to life in 2003 to build the next generation framework enabling Web Services to collaborate seamlessly. Since then Schakra has delivered numerous solutions to its customers all of highest quality and efficiency. Schakra has received many compliments from its customers for the exceptional ability shown in solving complex problems.
Amarendra Reddy, Founder and President
Before starting Schakra, Reddy has spent 20 year s in the technology industry playing wide span of roles from a Software Developer to a General Manager. He has spent the last 10 years before Schakra, at Aditi – a consulting and services firm, playing leadership roles both in technology development and business development. During his last 3 years at Aditi, as General Manager for Microsoft Business Unit, Reddy mastered the concept of software outsourcing and built a 100+ member development team for Microsoft from virtually nothing. Before that, Reddy mentored various technical teams at Aditi. Reddy has unique experience of working with the startups and participating in the growth of the companies. All the companies he worked for including Aditi, Satyam Computers and ASSGI were less than 20 people organizations when he stared with them and have grown to 200 to 1000+ member organizations while he was working there. Reddy also participated in the development and marketing of many shrink-wrapped products in last 20 years. His passion for technology and commitment for quality has earned many outstanding rewards for him and for the organizations that he has worked for. Reddy's vision of developing a Societal and Technology passion organization resulted in formation of Schakra and started by developing proof-of-concept in web services platform which was adopted by Microsoft.
Charles Prakash Dasari, Director of Engineering
Over the past 12 years Charles Prakash Dasari has worked for Baan, Microsoft, Cordys and Schakra. He has participated, developed and architected several products in the areas of ERP, EAI, Product Configuration, Business Process Orchestration, Unix interop with Windows and Web Services Collaboration. As a Senior Development Manager at Cordys, Charles was responsible for the development and shipping of the two core products – ESB & Business Application Server. At Schakra, as Director of Engineering, he oversees all the engineering operations.
Anil Balakrishnan, Director of Program Management
Prior to joining Schakra, Anil Balakrishnan worked at Microsoft for 11 years with primary focus on EAI products such as Microsoft BizTalk Server and Host Integration Server. As a Senior Program Manager at Microsoft, he was responsible for Identity Integration features that extended the reach of Microsoft Active Directory to non-Windows security systems. He led a program management team responsible for delivering interoperability between Microsoft technologies and IBM technologies for Application and Data Integration and has delivered products that allowed integration between Microsoft Identity Lifecycle Manager to IBM and Computer Associates security systems. During this period, he has architected solutions for IdM and Messaging Integration for numerous customers. At Schakra, as Director of Program Management, he oversees business development, product and program management.
