Schakra’s Product Team has produced a remarkable application platform enabling the unique blending of social media connections, web services and communications, in the cloud. We market this platform, and the suite of applications built on the platform, under the brand name GoGoStat.

GoGoStat solves the problem of automating your vast ‘lifestream’ of information from social media, email, telephony and other emerging forms of communication. For users, the task involved in making sense of this flood of activity, status updates, rich media and contacts is becoming increasingly overwhelming. The GoGoStat Platform enables new types of applications which blend your context (location and presence) and personality (mood and intentions) with information from your Lifestream and other sources, providing useful automation and tools for a variety of scenarios.

Next was the release of our most popular app to date, GoGoStat Parental Guidance.

Parental Guidance is a web application helping parents to monitor their kids Facebook activity, notifying them when potentially unsafe postings occur. Parents can now do the following –

  • See posts from teens containing offensive words, cyber-bullying, drug references and risky acronyms
  • Know when teens post photos and private profile details which should not be made public
  • Be notified when teens add new friends, and analyze their ages and locations

GoGoStat Parental Guidance is also available as a mobile app for the iPhone from the Apple AppStore.
