Amarendra Reddy, known by most as "Reddy", founded Schakra in 2003 after spending 16 years in the technology industry playing a wide range of roles from Software Development Engineer to General Manager. Prior to founding Schakra, Reddy spent 10 years at Aditi playing leadership roles both in technology and business development. While at Aditi, Reddy mastered the concept of software outsourcing and built a 100+ member development team for Microsoft from the ground up.
Reddy has a unique experience in working with startups and participating in the early growth stages of all the companies he worked at. At both Aditi and Satyam Computer Services Ltd., Reddy participated in the growth of organizations with less than 20 people to staff levels of about 1000. His passion for technology and commitment to quality has earned industry-wide recognition and awards for both him and the organizations he has worked for. Reddy’s unique mentoring skills have also led to career successes for many enthusiastic engineers. His vision of developing a company that has a keen social and technology focus led to the founding of Schakra Inc.
Reddy has 22 years of experience in Product Development and Business Management. He holds a B.E degree from Andhra University, India.

In his 14 year career in the technology industry, Prakash has worked for Baan, Microsoft, Cordys and Schakra in various roles ranging from Software Development Engineer to Senior Development Manager. He has architected and developed several products in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Product Configuration, Business Process Orchestration, UNIX interop with Windows, Web Services Collaboration and Web 2.0.
As Senior Development Manager at Cordys, Prakash envisioned and set up key processes like continuous integration and agile project management using Scrum, in addition to the development and launch of their two core products: ESB & Business Application Server. During the process, he has overseen the growth of product teams from the ground up without compromising team focus on excellence in engineering practices. Prakash brings in a wide set of technological skills in various areas with a unique ability to present the right solutions to key customer challenges.

Prior to joining Schakra, Anil Balakrishnan spent 11 years at Microsoft to help ship more than fifteen product releases that spanned across multiple product groups -Windows CE, Windows Server Terminal Services, Host Integration Server, BizTalk Server, Identity Lifecycle Manager and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). His longest stint was with the Connected Systems Division where he was the face of Microsoft for Messaging Interoperability, Identity and Security Integration features and also led a program management team to enable Interoperability for BizTalk and WCF. He has evangelized Microsoft’s Interoperability story and represented Microsoft in numerous industry-wide events. He also has positioned these products with key analysts, including Gartner and Burton.
As head of Schakra’s services business, Anil is responsible for business development, marketing, partner management, program management, and oversight of the customer project and partner product development.

Prior to joining Schakra, Bala spent the past 7 years at Microsoft where he co-created various products such as the Microsoft Connected Services Framework. He also worked on a number of solutions for service providers including Hosted Messaging and Collaboration and the Microsoft Contact Center Framework. He spent his time at Microsoft working with Tier-1 service providers around the world and pioneering the concepts around Service Delivery Platforms and monetizing Internet (Web 2.0) based services. Most recently he was a Principal Architect in the Business Online Services Group working on the next generation of the Service Delivery Platform supporting Microsoft Online - the company's Software as a Service Offering for businesses.
Before Microsoft he worked for HP in their Managed Services Group building early generations of the Software as a Service model with services such as hosted email, storage-on-tap and various other utility computing models. He was also responsible for high availability data center operations environments supporting electronic banking systems and telecommunications services.
At Schakra as the Chief Architect, Bala is responsible for crafting the Schakra product vision and ideas, and running the product division.
